Vera Ikona

Vera Ikona is my consulting business. I currently provide services in C/C++/MC++/C#/SQL and drupal/php/javascript/ajax/SQL.

The company began in 1997 as mechanical engineering consulting for the automotive/aerospace industry.  I designed and developed CNC programs for the manufacturing of diecast and plastic injection moulds.  My last project was programming the CNC operations for the world's largest forging, the Airbus A340-600 main landing gear.

In 2000 Vera Ikona morphed into embedded software engineering.  I contracted at Ingenico Ltd. writing RTOS drivers, designing automated test software and reverse engineering.  My last embedded project was the Vehicle Bus Gateway Module sw for Shelby Solutions which enables remote diagnostics of vehicle electronic control units during operation.

In 2005 I joined the open source web development community.  I built websites for institutional clients and developed the Web File Manager module for Drupal.

Since 2007 my paid work has become corporate IT.  I'm currently contracting IT services to Husky Injection Molding Systems and was recently part of a team working on a large .NET project for Deloitte.

My current side line is the development of a fuzzy servo motor control system.  It is currently being tested in a prototype camera rig used for generating video footage for a hologram printer.
